February in Albums

February is almost over so i’m going to post a couple of my favourite albums of the last month, in on particular order.

Okay, first up is Kanye West’s ‘The Life of Pablo’ besides the fact Kanye is off the rails sometimes and does silly things, he is still an extremely talented musician and he shows it again with ‘TLOP’ his sampling is still on point, from the use of Harddrive to Arthur Russell!

This probably is my favourite album of February for me, I’ve been wait for Rosie Lowe’s debut ‘Control’ for what seems for ever now! When it came out I wasn’t disappointed, its a silky smooth electronic debut with a strong themes.

I’ve been a fan of Breakbot for years ever since I heard his track ‘Baby I’m Yours’ his second album ‘Still Waters’ sees last featuring Irfane basically on the whole record. Its a really nice slice of new disco / groovy cuts.

Moomin’s debut ‘A Minor Thought’ is an easy, atmospheric, smooth, chilled out jazzy house record that you truly get lost in. Its perfect for them Sunday morning when you want something to keep you going but to also ease you out.
